new direction!

I've added a section on this blog's sidebar called "retail therapy". It lists some of my favorite shops. No, I didn't get paid to put those there!

I've decided to post more often and try to make this blog as dynamic and interesting as I can. Hopefully, it will mean more readers and more interaction.
