Ableton makes it really easy to use a MIDI controller.
I have an Akai MPD32.
I chose the MPD32 because:
- I wanted something with velocity sensitive pads.
- It was not too expensive.
- It's made to be used with Ableton so you can plug it in right out of the box.
- I'm interested in areas of hip-hop production.
