Lately I've been baking. I found a great recipe for cookies, french sables. Read more about them here. If you are making this type of cookie I suggest you watch them closely. They aren't cookies you want to brown on top. The edges should just be a bit darker. The exact recipe I used is found here.

random thoughts

During the car ride we spotted lots and lots of Christmas lights. Michelle inquired to us what it was. In unison Tom and I excitedly scream "IT'S SANTA'S ENCHANTED FOREST!" South Floridians, you know what I am talking about. It's like the best fair ever because it has way too many blinking lights and cheesy decorations.

Michelle was spotted during the show. Proof that she is on her way up and is now going to be super famous. I can't wait to mooch off of her.

Apparently to become a successful artist you have to use glitter, felt, or metallic paint. Which, by the way, is probably the first thing they tell you NOT to do in art school. Seriously.
