Notes from Miami

I'm tired. Art Basel was fantastic.

The drive was pleasant. Last night we went to Art Positions which was all of the new emerging talent in storage containers on the beach. They also had a little skate park area set up which I did not really get.

This morning we went to the Rubell family collection. It's in a wonderful building. The highlight of that collection was this gorgeous Anslem Kiefer piece. The painting is of a field. It had chairs embedded in it. It was truly awesome. Their were also a lot of great Marlene Dumas pieces as well.

The main event was at the Miami beach Convention center. It had a ridiclous amount of work in it. All of it was extremely expensive.
