quick update

I'm loving life right now. I'm at my parent's house in South Florida relaxing.

I'm interning with a great company, Lady Vanderbilt. It's a newish jewelry brand. The look is very young and fresh. I've always fantasized about working in fashion so this is great. I really want to learn more about branding, I think that is an area I could really succeed in. 

I just read Kelly Cutrone's book If You Have to Cry Go Outside. It was awesome! Kelly Cutrone is one of my personal heroes. I would love to meet her. It's amazing how she basically made herself. I highly recommend it.

Okay, now I have to get back to work!

tourist in my own town

Sometimes I take being from South Florida for granted. Today was not one of those days. I spent the day with my mom, walking down beautiful Las Olas. We finally walked around the Stranahan House. Had Cheesecake Factory at lunch amongst many ugly-short tourists. My margarita was delicious. Bought a little purple clutch for the weddings I have coming up. Then we got facials and went home.
